Sore ankle, he should be back soon. But seems like he might miss more and more games this year to try and get healthy for the playoffs. If the Thunder lose a couple games with Durant out it could help the Blazers hold on to the division. The way we've had some up and downs the last month I don't know what to expect from our squad so at least winning the division gets us the 4th seed and keeps us away from Golden State/Memphis. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...oma-city-thunder-saturday-soreness-right-foot
Apparently he's having yet another procedure on his foot and will be re-evaluated in a week. Maybe this foot problem can become a big problem.
I can't remember where I saw the highlights, but they were showing him limping around. Damn, he looked like an old man, besides the foot issue, it was like his legs just weren't holding up well to the rigors of the NBA.
I hate OKC, but I would never wish this on any player. I hope it's nothing and he can overcome this injury. Losing Durant is bad for the nba
In other words, no chance. Westbrick is so easy. You just have to draw him into a dick measuring contest and he shoots them out of the game.
I too saw the highlights where he was limping badly (well, not like sprained ankle badly, but some thing is wrong badly). I did something to my left foot a couple weeks ago, though it was just a cramp (my foot was on a rung of a stool, and it felt like a cramp after that)..and ever since I did that, my left foot as been uncomfortable. Feets are weird things that can hurt you.
I was really trying not to say that we have a damn good shot at the division now... but I can't help it. lol.
Yeah when your feet hurt, your day is fucked. I've had a nagging heel pain that prohibits me from standing on them for too long. It doesn't hurt when I walk or run; just stand. The pain is really unbearable.
This makes it an odd battle for the 8th spot; Phoenix just traded away Dragic, Plumlee and Thomas while in New Orleans Anthony Davis is out at least a couple weeks and Ryan Anderson got hurt in the same game. It would be great for western conference hopefuls to see OKC miss the playoffs. But at the same time if Durant isn't healthy for the playoffs they aren't a threat. This year we could see the 8th seed finish below .500 while other recent years the better western lottery teams have been near 50 wins which is 20 games over .500.
