My opinion is that Isiah assembled a bunch of players that due to Isiah's coaching, have really no idea what it is to be a team together. Otherwise yes on paper they should be looking good, but unfortuately, it seems that this team needs to be blown up, and literary start from nothing.
1. One ball too many shooters.2. Not playing like a team.3. Team consist of too many guards.4. Marbury is their "leader"5. They are really jus that bad
Because all of their guards are selfish idiots, no one on their team can play defense, Isiah Thomas is a dumbass, etc..They just werent assembled right. Isiah just got a bunch of stiff big men, and a bunch of guards that are selfish and like to shoot the ball alot.
When you get a group of guys that are vastly overpaid, where there is little pressure to win, where your expected to fail...your not going to win...(Plus all the selfish stuff that we've gone over 1,000 times).
Yeah, just to further add on to what everyone here is saying, this is a very selfish team that plays little to no defense. I really thought they would be better this season, but I am completely wrong. When your team is letting up more points per game(100.2), than your team is scoring(98.6), you are not going to win many games. They shoot a poor percentage(45.7) from to much one on one play. This is just not a team that seems like they will get along, or play well together. The one thing that is going for this team, is that they are in the worst division in basketball. At 7-14 they are only 1 and a half games out of first place of the division.

Stephon Marbury, although he has gotten more unselfish (occasionally) than back in Phoenix, is still a point guard who relies on driving to the hoop to set things up. That is going to result in broken down offenses where no one is in a position to do anything, its going to result in tons of forced shots, and rarely you might get a kick out to the wing. Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford, Eddie Curry, and Q Rich are all guys that can score. That's it. Sure each might have a few other minor talents, but for the most part every single on of those guys mentioned above is a scorer (and in terms of the guards, every one relies on the jumpshot to heavily)So basically, on offense you are going to get stupid shots coming out left and right, stupid decisions coming up like clockwork, and that's about it. Then you facotr in that they play absolutely NO defense...
1. Thomas is a worse coach than he is GM.2. Francis and Marbury are both cancers.3. They can't play D.
1) Starbury and Isiah Thomas2) Francis3) Their salaries4) The pressure of winning in NY5) Out of shape Curry6) Inconsistent Q-Rich7) One ball - 12 players

Egos. Everyone her has a huge ego and don't share the ball as often. We have talent but we just can't msh them together.2. Pressure in the Garden. We are scared to play in the Garden because of last year, the boos have showed they almost had no confidence in winning.3. Chemsitry. With all the trades Isiah is making is seriosly ruining our chemistry.
