    I'm not sure this one is on Cashman, but it's on the Yanks either way and doesn't feel great. Hate to root for a kid to be a bust but here goes...

    I am so furious I cannot even speak right now. I hope nobody spends money to go and see the Yankees this season. Then maybe Hal and Company will take notice. To lose him to the Red Sox of all teams is a disgrace. Screw you Hal and Cashman.

    ...Rupert Murdoch and Newscorp bought 49% of the YES Network 2-3 years ago...could be a precursor to the eventual sale of the Yanx...who knows.

    ...the owners would probably block him (again) but I'd love to see someone passionate like Mark Cuban take over...or maybe even an investment group including Jeter.

    I've been saying that in terms of those contracts but that's a good way to put it. They're bleeding the team until those contracts are done. Who knows what happens from there.

    ...^^^ mess and tote... depending on how he responds, you also may be able to add Tanaka to that list before long.

    ...but as flush with money as the Yanx are, I don't see the salaries hindering a sale...I mean I don't see them letting this team flounder for another 2-3 years just to make them more attractive to a buyer...if they get the right offer they'll weigh it at that time.
