More than three decades after the original, Harrison Ford will star in a sequel to the dystopian, sci-fi masterpiece Blade Runner. The plot of the film will also take place decades after the events of the original – a 1982 film that was set in 2019 – with a script written by one of the first movie's co-writers, Hampton Fancher, and Michael Green (Green Lantern) using an idea that the former came up with director Ridley Scott, who helmed the original movie. Principal photography will begin in 2016, according to Deadline.
