Brass and Step collectively surpassed Richards #s plus their from last year.

Let's hope Hayes can keep this up in the playoffs.

Pouliot was also the master of the boneheaded penalty in the opponent's zone which cancelled out much of his offensive contributions, Hayes is a huge upgrade. Stempniak was a nice pickup by Glen too with his 9 G/9 A.

Why patience is required. At times, none of us are patient. Most of us wanted to hang Nash last year. He went along way to costing us the cup. That being said, it wasn't Nash who didn't hold the leads for us in the finals. It was the team and a few moron refs. He still sucked beyond belief offensively in the playoffs.

Hayes has taken his game up 2-3 levels the past few weeks. Last 14 games he has 13 points. Ice time is up. Looks like he's playing 15 to 16 minutes a game over that stretch.

This team has come together very nicely. They don't need a ton just a little help at the deadline. Hopefully nothing to mess up the chemistry of the team. You never know in the playoffs. You need some luck in combination of solid play. They're certainly a cup contender but that alone means nothing.

Wouldn't worry about adding a lot. With the idiotic prices teams are paying for non game breakers, the Rangers might be sellers to a small degree in order to dump a player they can't sign.
