<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Pioneer Press - Just because Kevin Garnett made a public plea for Minnesota to acquire Allen Iverson, doesn't mean it will happen. "No trade," owner Glen Taylor said during the Wolves' 110-103 victory over Utah on Friday night at Target Center. "It isn't that I don't like him. Just money-wise, it wouldn't work out." Jim Gray, reporter for ESPN, announced on the air that Iverson told him in a telephone interview Friday that he was heading to Minnesota. He came back on the air soon after to say that he had been "duped," admitting, "I was talking to an imposter."</div>So we can stop these rumours...

might cause KG to follow iverson's lead, and demand a trade. I hope he does -not even considering it is sad and crazy- they obiously are not as serious about winning as they say. GET THE HELL OUT OF DODGE KG

Yeah, I'm all for KG staying like I was for Iverson(but this is to a bigger degree) but if you have such a f*cking stupid management that DOESN'T want a future HOFer, then say 'F*ck you' and demand a trade too.

I wouldn't count the Wolves out just yet. The Wolves were seriously tlaking about trying to acquire Marbury earlier this year and I believe his contract is larger than AI's. Never count anything out in proffesional sports.

Doesn't make any sense for the Timberwolves..I'm glad they didn't do it...and they really couldn't money wise like I was saying yesterday.

It could work, but we would have to lose a couple of bigger contracts, which will make it tougher but still doable.

Man I heard the sixers were really interest in randy foye!! I would give randy foye, ricky D, and Mike james! Just for AI!! Ai is 10times beter than all of those names. Plus not to mention mike james was the worst FA signing ever. He isnt worth half of the millions Minny gave em

This could work out money wise if you go for a 3/4 team trade. However, its unlikely stilll because of the money.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Taylor Now Interested In IversonOn Friday, Glen Talyor said that there was no chance of Allen Iverson being traded to the Wolves, but on Saturday, he softened his stance."I just think Allen Iverson on any team probably makes it better just because at any time, he's hard to stop," Taylor said. "You get towards the end of the game, he's a difficult player to stop. If you had some other guys around him and a guy like K.G. around him, it gives you some strong options at the end. He's a very unique player. A guy like him, (Phoenix's Steve) Nash, maybe (New Jersey's Jason) Kidd, these guys are very creative and probably would be helpful to almost any team with any combination around them."McHale would have to find out if this is something Philly wants to do, how bad they want to do it. I would assume a number of teams would have some interest (in Iverson). It's not something you could just do very easily. (Garnett's) contract is so large, you'd have a lot of money tied up in two guys."</div>He needs to make up his mind :dunno:

I just want him traded so if he does go to Minnesota, we can start winning games. I think this is starting to be a distraction, and that is making the Wolves start to lose again.
