Please. Every time there is a trade rumor, your ass has Sather giving up the entire team and all our picks. You're wrong every f'n time. You love the players on teams that suck and think this teams players are crap. Same crap every year with you.

Agree Mess. 4.7 tops in my book, and prefer 4.5 per. Question is would you deal him now or would you hold since he is a huge part of a team trying to win a cup. Unless you can get a very good return that helps NOW, and that will be tough since he is a UFA to be, I think I would hold Zucc and add a forward to try and win a cup.

Yes dump, that is me. I said give up a 2nd and a 4th for Winnik. I said I would give up a 2nd for Vermette. I said I would NOT deal Miller, Buch, Duclair, and Skjei. YES I want to give up everything...LOL.

I can live with the fact that we don't agree on this. I don't have to call you an idiot because we disagree. You want to hold and hold and hold and win I don't know when...I clearly don't agree, but I also don't call you an idiot for feeling that way.

And because guys like Dis, Prod, sc, and I would deal a 2nd and a player like Fast or McIlrath or Lindberg to actually try and win with Hank in his prime, doesn't make me (or us) idiots.

I can disagree without being rude. As we all see from YEARS AND YEARS of responses on these boards, you my friend cannot. It is who you are. I expect no less from you.

1:29PM: Multiple teams have been told that Zuccarello is available. (ESPN.com)

The Rangers are believed to have offered Mats Zuccarello a five or six-year deal with a cap hit of $4.5 million while Zuccarello is searching for between $5 million and $5.5 million on a new contract. (NY Post)

The team views this gap as “impossible to bridge” between the end of the season and when Zuccarello can be a UFA on July 1. The team is now trying to trade him before Monday’s trade deadline. (NY Post)

All of these things have happened in the past three days. (NY Post)

Katie Strang says that it’s a “significant chasm” between the two sides. (ESPN.com)

Larry Brooks writes that Zuccarello could get more than $5 million per year as a UFA but “it’s clear” that it won’t happen with the Rangers. (NY Post)

You're just babbling to yourself at this point. You act like the Rangers are a team in the 8th spot, desperate to make the playoffs. Gimme a break.

I respect Zucc for wanting to get his money, same as with Cally last season, but then don't say you want to stay a Ranger. You are making 3.5 this year. Sather offered a raise of 1 mill per. A long term five or six year deal that is very fair. Same as with Cally if you want to be here take it.

I bet you can even get 4.6 or 4.7 and stay here. Is that extra 500 K or 700 K per really going to change your life?

Understand the cap, take 4.6 per, stay in NY where you claim to want to stay, and be happy with a 1 mill per raise from this season.

    Cally all over again...

WE are not babbling to anybody dump. WE just know we need to add a few pieces to be a real cup fav. We are not far off as I said this AM. Give me a solid bottom 6 depth forward and a solid 3rd pair depth dman and we are set.

I cannot let the 49th pick in the draft stop me from getting that. That is where WE respectfully disagree with you.

Well Zuc is a great team player for the Rangers, that being said I wouldnt say he's irreplaceable, if last year showed us anything its that speed is great to have but you need to have size as well. This team has Zuc, Hags and an aging St. Louis all 3 get pushed around if our speed is neutralized. I feel that with Hayes stepping up his game its made Zuc expendable, specially with his demands for a larger contract. Bozak may not seem to appealing, but then again no one on the leafs do. From what i've read about bozak hes a good two-way center, his problem is he plays on a team that's a total disgrace on the defensive side of the puck(well documented). So if he is playing a solid game every night it gets exposed by his lazy teamates. On the plus side with Bozak he's effective in the FO circle and is a right hander shooter, which would help since we are a dumpster fire in the FO circle and have too many lefties and need balance. As much as I like Zuc, he's not a franchise player, period, and if we could upgrade a weak spot and move a player to wing why not give it a shot. Who knows maybe its all gesturing to get Vermette for less, I hate this part of the season too much speculation and too many couch GM's.

And seriously DUMP. stop attacking people on a personal level and talk hockey. You could also use a dictionary and thesaurus as you have completely over used "Idiot" and "Moron" over the last couple of years.

I swear, our military must be wondering why they are protecting the sissy morons in this country. It's bad enough I have to watch people get fired for speaking their mind. Now, we have imbeciles on this board who get their feelings hurt by words. Unreal.

It's business and I never fault guys for getting all they can. On the flip side sometimes you should make concessions if you want to remain in a winning situation.

I agree with a lot of what you said Lundy. Bozak is 51% on FO's. He would make us very good and deep down the middle. He is signed for 3 more years with a good 4.2 mill cap hit (which works well for us). So I can see the match.

What I don't love is right now Zucc is better. If we added Bozak for him we better go deal for another top 9 forward IMO. And I also think they like Hayes as a C moving forward next season and beyond, adding Bozak makes it difficult for Hayes to play C next year.

Oh my little princess, I would love to do this, I really would. But when i grew up i put away my childish toys. Lowering myself to your level of internet tough guy bullshit isnt really needed.

Seems you just cant handle others having an opinion that differs from yours. Neanderthals are more elegant then you are, I appreciate that you read my post but decided only to comment about the last sentence.

I don't get my feelings hurt, I am just saying we can disagree without calling each names bro. Can't you do that? People are not always going to agree with you, and that is okay and part of the world. You don't need to call them morons and idiots because they disagree dump.

I agree with you on the state of this country and how we are soft, but there is no need for you to call people names in here. What is the point of that man.

I agree Mess. That is my point on Zucc, and Cally last year. Go for your money if you want, but if you really like it here take a little less. For Zucc we are talking 700 K +/- less, if you want to be here sign at 4.6 per Zucc and call it a day...for five or six years...done.

Fast should be back Monday night...who does he replace...has to be Glass...right???

I mentioned in another thread that I'd like to make a Bozak deal over the summer for all the reasons you just mentioned Lundy. And like Chuck said dealing Zucc for him doesnt make us better THIS YEAR, so I'd hold off on that.

At the end of the day I hold Zucc and let him walk i f we can't sign him.
