According to multiple reports, Marquis has accepted a three-year offer from the Cubs. The news was first reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, which said the deal was worth $28 million over the three years. According to the Chicago Tribune, the contract is worth $20 million.Hell yeah. Finally a solid, more healthy than last year , rotation.

Not a bad signing. He's a little overrated though. $21 mil is the official number.

He's a bad pitcher and when he's not bad he's very average. He won't do much good for you guys. He gets too many walks, his opp. batting average is pretty high and allows too many people on base. Your offense better produce when he's on the mound. Oh yeah, and he also gives up a very large amount of homers and his record is 27-30 for the last two years. I don't like wins as a stat but the Cardinals had a pretty good record two years ago when he only got 13 wins...
