To me the Rangers played a passive game on the road against a desperate rival.

Sather is sitting home, smoking a cigar, looking at our record and laughing in our faces. He thinks this team is good enough to win lord stanley. Just like he did in 2012.

That's all it is Chuck. Just frustrated because this was a game we shoud've won. PP cannot continue to be this bad. Need to fix it. Bad enough it's not scoring, but it can't be giving up goals either.

Agreed. No clue why they were passive, but I thought it was a soft effort all around really. Didn't really get a sense of passion or fire. Just seemed to be there. Didn't love what they brought tonight. Maybe trade rumors getting to them.

Yup, nobody impressed me tonight. A little bit of going through the motions. Then the top lines got leaned on. This wasn't a playoff game so I wish AV didn't get caught up in it with some of the ice times.

well on to the next one. Need to win Monday now against a good, but recently struggling Nashville team. Hopefully we get a faceoff upgrade with some size tomorrow. I don't think its gonna happen, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Bozak for Zucc now.

tough loss, but it happens. just a little off our game. Talbot played well. all teams lose games like this in the NHL, just shake it off and move on. can't win em all but would have been huge for us given games in hand and Isle loss. Oh well

Next 5 games will be very interesting. With 4 very tough road games after the Nashville game at MSG, it makes Monday night a big bounce back game IMO or a bad streak could be starting.

Still in good shape in the division, 2 back with 3 games in hand and the TB. And with the Caps struggling they may get 4th, so maybe 2nd or 3rd, and the Pens, is the best place for us anyway.

I've seen too many half ass efforts from many players lately against crappy teams which lead me to believe they are either running out of gas or they are just pretenders and not real contenders. I am shocked how they have amassed so many points this month playing half ass hockey.

Considering how well they have done without Hank this is getting pretty foolish.

I am shocked how well they have done without hank plus giving poor efforts in some games. Look back at their wins and tell me they played well in all of them.

If we had the 85 Oilers Step MAY be happy then. Our team is right there with any team Step. Not saying we are the best, but we are up near the top. We need to add some depth and we'll be good to go IMO.

Tough games coming up for sure but this team should like the challenge. I think Hank will be back by mid month.

The fact that they basically sealed a playoff spot with Talbot playing is a win win for me. Playoff seeding is secondary.

Told somebody today they were losing this game. Made perfect sense. Trade deadline is coming up and a few guys are on edge. They have beat Philly like a drum who was going to come out and play it like a playoff game. Talbot has been average at best for about 8 games. He's been giving up shaky goals. Glass sucks and he's' playing every night because Fast is out. Rangers were due for a dud. Nash has cooled off.
