Been calling for a Blake benching for a while now. He is not a steadying presence. He is a bad shooter and a mediocre defender who has become increasingly turnover prone. I am tired of his constant dribbling to nowhere. Considering his counterparts around the league, he is not too bad, but CJ is a better player than him, and should play more. Of course all that changes now. I expect both Blake and CJ to be in the rotation.
But you just told me... You lied! You lied to me! That's not sunshine, that's dark gloomy rain. Depression settling back in...
Aww, don't cry. It's all connected. Afflalo and Gee can fill Wes' shoes, AND CJ can take over for Blake and make the team better. It's all sunshine, and sometimes it even shines on a dog's backside...
He used to be so damn consistent though. Now it's shaky at best... but yeah, I thought the POW was a turnaround...let's hope the last two games are flukes.
Its pretty rare for a guy like Lillard to have 2.5 seasons like he has had and simply become and average player at the age of 24-25. Slumps happen.
As I've said since his first debutante Summer League game, McCollum is no point guard. He is miserable at it. If you want to debate whether sub SG should be Gee or McCollum or Crabbe, okay. But there is no debate over who our best sub PG is. Feeling guilty for driving out Mo, when you used the opposite reasoning?
We can always slide Nico to the 2 and play Wright at the 3...I think Platypus started the thread to get some losses going for the prediction game though.
