I'm actually fairly benevolent about his time off because I think the extended playing time for Snell is going to be very useful for him and the team down the road. Quite possibly as soon as this season's playoffs.
I don't think it really matters. Doug was the man in college, unlike Snell. Plus Snell was really nervous and just seemed off last year in his limited minutes. Doug played good against Indiana tonight, but other than that, I think Snell's the better prospect right now.
Better prospect now? Ya that is true. Snell hasnt been injured. And this is not his first year. Lets give Doug the summer to see what he does next season.
