This is OT, and I only mention it because of your name, but I'm pretty sure Rasheed Wallace used to do coats for kids in a time long long ago. Either way still awesome Wes does that. P.S: Wes is and be a Blazer!
even if he didnt start the charity he really embraced it and you could see the smile was genuine while he was helping. just like sheed is a lot nicer of a person than people realize.
Wes is a man. Throwback type. He can't dribble much better than I can. If he works on his ball handling while he is rehabbing, he will be a better player even if he is 85 percent of the athlete he was pre injury. Knowing the warrior that he is, he probably will come back better.
I'm sure the Blazers will offer Wes a deal but not for 4 or 5 years given the injury. He'll probably get 2 years with a team option the 2nd year when there will be a lot more cap space to go around. Wes more than likely doesn't play until the allstar break next season so that's long enough to see where his recovery is at. The Knicks are the only team other than the Lakers who could overpay to get him and at that point, it'll be his decision.
Perhaps I may become a riverman again.... Or I may simply be a single drop of rain... But I will remain.
Rasheed Wallace is an asshole. I've seen it first hand when he made an 8 year cry at toys r us the day after christmas.
Wes wants to be part of the team really bad. It must be fucking killing him man. The writing is on the wall that he is coming back next season in a Blazers jersey.
Dan Dickau: Wesley Matthews can come back from Achilles' rupture, which he also suffered http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/i..._wesley_matthews_can_come_back_from_achi.html
Just like to point out, you were the only person to correctly predict (in this thread) what would actually happen, 4 months in advance of free agency. Damn you.
