I was into them back around '02, but their style got boring to me. Back in my freshman year at UW, we drove up to Vancouver to see them play a show. The weekend up there was fun, except that 'show' was some 30 minute in store performance. Talk about not reading the details of the flyer, ha. For a great Canadian rapper, check out Buck 65. Way better (to me personally) than anyone in the Battle Axe crew or the Degrassi High kid.
Yo Zags, I just googled Ace of Base. It does not appear their website has been updated since late-2011. That can't be a good sign. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. On a positive note, 19 years ago from yesterday (3/12), "The Sign" reached #1 on Billboard Hot 100, and remained there for the rest of the year.
