I guess they havent been giving up enough goals lately, time to get our best minus player back in there immediately.

In all seriousness I hope it's just for tomorrow to keep Martin from running wild. Credit where credit is due, Glass did a good job standing up to him last game when he was pushing around Stempniak. But hopefully he's out against the Caps wed.

I thought Sheppard has played well. Puzzling, but is what it is.

good move by AV. he's in to try and keep Martin from running around all night. Glass did get in Martin's face last game. This is exactly the role Glass is here for. I bet they actually duke it out tomorrow

That sucks! .......from an offensive and defensive view. I wonder if
Sheppard stays in line up also? Who sits out? After Isles demolish
Leafs tonight, Rangers will be facing the rock 'em sock 'em
    Isles tomorrow.
These next two games back to back will test Ranger toughness.

And BTW, Halak will have had an extended rest period of 4 days ( 2 games ).

I don't mind the move by AV I think he has to keep up with the physical game if they chose to go that route...

My guess is Fast sits against a bigger Isles team. Sheppard should be in every game, he has a nice blend of size/skill.

Fast will play, they like him on the PK. Sheppard skated as the extra today.

Fast is also our only right shot forward other than Stepan, now that Stempniak is gone. Doesnt mean all that much on the 4th line and no PP time, but still something extra Fast brings. I like his game a lot.

With Fast on the ice they haven't given up a power-play goal yet this year... Impressive stat
