Good young pitcher Marcus Stroman was penciled in as one of Toronto's SP. Last year - 193IP, 3.65 ERA , 1.17 WHIP. Tough break for the kid but at least he won't be called an overpaid fat slob like CC is. Injuries are going to happen, and obviously the Yanks need to stay away from long term serious injuries to a couple of their "regular" players/pitchers. Yep, questions marks all over the place including those "other" teams who also have them.....but I guess "we" were already aware if this.....or chose to ignore them and think like homeriffic fans of the opposition. lol

I see Cashman dialing in his plan.....we can trade a promising young arm to the Jays for another has been infielder/bench role type of guy.
Hate to see any man not be able to perform his livelihood at its best. I'm sure you guy have noticed checking the ESPN articles that there are quite a few incidents of "walking wounded" out there in MLB land.
And you know and I know this isn't going to happen. Could possibly, perhaps be a case of the Yankees winning the battle of attrition of holding onto and maintaining their top prospects with a couple MOSTLY being right on schedule to be ready to step in possibly later this year and probably next year.
Sorry to inject this comment regarding the Stroman injury and quite a few other injuries popping up amoung other teams but as the saying goes: "sometimes sh!t happens" ......and the games/ schedule must be played out over 162 games. Injuries are going to happen, and obviously the Yanks need to stay away from long term serious injuries to a couple of their "regular" players/pitchers. Yep, questions marks all over the place including those "other" teams who also have and will continue to get their share....but I guess "we" were already aware if this.....or chose to ignore them and think like homeriffic optimistic fans of the opposition while expecting most of OUR question marks to be answered in the negative.
Won't be hearing much from Jays fans this year after most of them committed seppuku earlier this week. Stro was on pace for a killer season. Pretty much scuttles things until next year. A bunting drill!
