From the fire (at Icelanders) into the frying pan = at Washington.
Capital media pleading that the team has injury problems........
Green, Orpik, Backstrom are ailing. Since this is a national TV
    game, they'll be playing.

This game is the beginning of back to back games that the Rangers
will be playing till the end of the season. 17 games remaining, 8
games will be back to back......after tonight's game.

If the Rangers win tonight that would be crazy impressive, and they will win the division for sure IMO. 3rd game in 4 days, back to back after a rivalry win last night, against a very good well rested Caps team at home...not a recipe for a win, but if they pull it off...wow.

St. Louis should not be shooting from a distance at this point, he's more valuable as a passer nowadays. Gets too many shots blocked or too soft.

The more I see of MSL the more I think this team shouldn't even offer him a new deal. Let him walk. He's too slow for AV's system. Id prefer that money be used elsewhere

These refs are a god damn joke. Tons of embellishment and the Caps are able to hit guys without the puck and hit from behind and interfere with no repercussion. This is horseshit. This is some serious home cooking here. These refs should be embarrassed of themselves.

McDonagh continues to do moronic things with his stick.

I know we fans judge what a player does on the ice..........but if I
think what MSL brings to the locker room may have more of an
impact on the team. I thought Sather gave up one too many #1
picks for his services. Still do. We shall see if his leadership
    becomes contagious......to a Stanley Cup.

The only way this team beats us is if we take stupid penalties.

Which leads me to my next point...STOP TAKING STUPID PENALTIES. All of those calls were legit. Moore selfish dumb penalty followed by a careless stick penalty against McD.

And our PP is starting to anger me, and I blame AV for a lot of it. STOP playing MSL on the 1st PP unit. STOP putting Girardi on the PP. Angers me.

MSL icetime should be cut as the playoffs are nearing. That whole second line has not been good for a while and MSL is the primary guy who slows it down. Hayes Miller Hagelin should be the second line just based on play for the last few weeks.

I fully expect MSL to play a solid role during the playoffs, and score some big playoff goals for us, that's what he does, but right now I don't get why he is on the 1st PP unit.

Yeah, wait more than 4 games and 1 period Step. I will leave it to you to go way over the top with that short of a timeframe. Go start a new job and be up to speed 100% in 3 days Step, then call me.

The calls were legit penalties, but the refs have missed a TON against the Caps. If you're gonna call bs on the Raners call it on the Caps as well. Like when they ran over Cam after the whistle and nothing. I just want a fairly called game. Can't call Moore for that interference and not the interference on Zucc earlier in the game when the puck was over 10 feet away.

Patience. Newly acquired players need time to adapt to their
    new teammates and AV's system.

AV loves Glass, we all know that. Funny, but I don't even give it a second thought anymore, is what it is.

Sheppard sitting for Glass is ridiculous, but expected from AV.

I saw what Ref Devorski did in Detroit. Rangers were outplaying the
Wings. Then he calls 3 or 4 consecutive calls against the Rangers in
third period. And he let a lot go the first two periods. Please tell me
he is not reffing this game.
