Actually MSL did something finally to set up his buddy and Boyle missed the net by five feet.

The problem is that there are some weaknesses in this team that need to be fixed by playoff time. The PP and MSL are two MAJOR issues. I'm not sure if MSL is just tired or what, but he's making a lot of bad decisions and bad plays lately. The PP just refuses to do what is needed to be productive. Put the Hayes line out there a few times. Get Kreider in front of the net, and get Stepan off of it as all night he has been in the middle of the ice just standing there, clogging up the middle and making it easier to defend against.

That was Kreider, not MSL behind the net setting up Boyle if that's the play you're referring to.

The team just wins and wins and wins. If we have weaknesses to fix then I feel bad for the rest of the NHL. I also wonder what the F do the rest of the teams need to fix...LOL.

In the NHL there are no guarantees of anything, even winning a round, but my lord just be happy for a little while people. It isn't all bad...

So you are ok with this PP and MSL sucking lately? Ok. The PP is going to kill us in the playoffs if we can't get it going. Having an effective PP means that it makes the opposition less aggressive because they're worried about taking a penalty. When your PP struggles, teams will take more runs and not be afraid to take a penalty to shake a team up and get them playing their game more passive.

Great play by Kreider and nice to see MSL find that extra gear and be able to tap that in.

What a win. Back to back against the Isles and rested caps, surviving the onslaught in the third and getting 4 points and giving them zero is huge. Talbot huge game, McD and G tie for second star.

    Need Klein to be Ok.

Sure it would be nice for the PP to score some goals, but let's put it in context please. The team has been AWESOME since early December, by far the best in the NHL. So while the PP getting some goals would be nice, it isn't this major huge issue.

This team is playing some amazing hockey. Winning tonight is ultra impressive. We just beat the Hawks the Isles and the Caps in 4 nights, 3 of the top teams in the NHL, ALL on the road and allowed 2 goals. BE HAPPY PEOPLE. Best team in the NHL right now and it isn't close.

Pretty incredible they got 9 out of 10 points in the last 5 games cosidering the opponents. I was expecting them to drop at least 3 of those games...absolutely incredible. Cam's GAA over the last 5 is amazing.

Cam has been awesome. Struggled early, but now that he has gotten comfortable he has been a monster. Controlling rebounds and great glove as well. Guess he just needed to settle in as the starter, awesome stuff.
