Honk zero times was apparently the right answer... the only way to win is not to play.

Foot problems can be the end of a career. This is not good news for any player to deal with.

Sucks for OKC fans. What a nightmare of a season.

With Ibaka out also it will be a very tough hill to climb to even make the playoffs.

People have been talking about Durants specific injury and how it can easily derial your entire career if you dont let it fully heal and come back to soon. It really looks like Durant might have come back to soon.

Wow, sounds like they tried to rush him back too soon twice. I remember when Martell broke his foot in preseason. They brought him back for one game in December and he lasted 5 minutes before he went down again for the season. Of course, CJ has broken his foot a couple times. These injuries don't seem to be career threatening, but they do seem to take quite a while to heal properly.

He needs to just shut it down, let it heal and comeback next year. It's his contract year and if he can shown he's healthy, he's bound to get multiple max. contract offers and could either leave OKC outright, or force a sign and trade.

I don't see KD leaving OKC, unless it's for Washington. Besides that, who the hell wants to team up with Bradley Beal? Wall's great and all...but the rest of the team looks like it will be garbage soon enough.

Most definitely bad timing. What happens if he does not come back this year? Does he come back in a Wizards Jersey?

He still has all of next season to show he's healthy. If there is any doubt, I'd sit out until I'm positive it's healed, even if that means missing the beginning of next season. That would be an incredibly long recovery period for a Jones Fracture. C.J. had his surgery in October of 2013 and was back playing in games by early January - a 4 month recovery period. Even if Durant needs another surgery he'd have 7 months to recover before opening night 2015-16.

Injuries suck. I'd rather both our teams were 100% healthy.

But I assume he's still got the potential to come back this year for the post-season, unlike Wes :(

If we had drafted him, this would have happened his rookie year.

Also, Oden would probably be dominating and the Seattle Supersonics would still exist.

Meh... Oden is a drunk version of Mr. Glass. He would still be where he is now no matter who we drafted...

Oden should donate his foot to Durant. Then at least part of him can have a NBA career.

Oden already has a part that has had an NBA career

We should've drafted Horford so Seattle/OKC could've bombed with Oden and Durant would be in the Eastern conference out of our view.
