Kobe came bakc with 34 points on a broken ankle! I didn't see this game sadly. I definately think we are one of the elite teams now. Kobe is just unstoppable. Odom had 18 and Walton followed with 17. Bynum with 8 boards of fthe bench.
Great win for the Lakers who are going on their Texas road trip to face the Rockets twice and the Mavericks. With this win over the Spurs, it gives them that momentum that they need to play well and above expectation. Kobe played incredible and finished with 34 points coming off of an injured ankle. :worthy: Walton played good as usual and Lamar was an assist away from a triple double. Bynum also had a great game coming off the bench going against Tim Duncan and Kwame played with a passion in crunch time. Kwame had a big block and two ferocious dunks along with an and one play. The Laker's defense is what really helped them get this win...they played amazing D, especially in the 3rd. I also thought that Smush played pretty well tonight and had a few steals to go along with 10 points.
Hey man, don't forget about Bynum. In limited minutes he did great, he pretty much shut down TD while he was guarding him. The only bucket Duncan got on him was a fastbreak dunk.

He played amazing against Duncan and really limited him with his long arms and defensive pressure. He abused Elson on a few plays and looked determined tonight which is what I like to see.

Did anyone else notice that the Lakers were able to get to and score at the rim at will? Kobe and Smush got to the cup way more than usual, Kwame and Bynum were attacking, even Luke was getting into the lane. That was just a beautiful game.
Great game...everybody played great. :dribble: Bynum did a great job on Duncan in the first half, Kwame dominated in the second half.I hope the Lakers can go at least 7-3 in the next 10 games. :happy0144:
Its good to see that Kobe doesn't have to score 40 a night now, now that there are people who have shown they can play good hard basketball I.e. Luke Walton and Lamar Odom, with Kobe out on injuries both (along with others) were able just to step it up and win some games without Kobe.
That third quarter was the best laker basketball I've seen in a while. It all started with the defense and to go anywhere, we need some sort of defense. Also, I think duncan is now afraid of Kwame and Bynum. How many times did kwame dunk on him?Bruce bowen must have fallen off. He was getting beaten off the drible by an injured kobe.
It was a great game I saw the whole thing. Only thing that would of been better is if I could of been there to see it live.
