I hope the Bulls lose this game, it highlights Thibs' incompetence perfectly. I am so sick of seeing Kirk Hinrich on the floor screwing things up. Why he spent so much time at SG in the first half while Moore played like 5 seconds is ridiculous. But I've been begging for Thibs to try Moore at PG, and he just refuses. Detroit makes a run and we can't score, with Kirk running things there was no offense at all. You can't score playing 4 on 5. Snell can't hit the broad side of a barn tonight, why not try McDoug for a couple of minutes? Nights like this are why the smart teams (read: all the other playoff teams) play their entire roster during the season, so they are ready when needed. Not that it matters with Thibs coaching, it's not like he's ever going to stray from his rotation, he did just the opposite and pulled McDoug a few games back when he scored 10 straight Bulls points over a two minute span. For all the good teaching Thibs does on defense, he still hasn't learned any of the other nuances of being a HEAD coach. That's why he was such a good assistant, all he had to do was draw up the defense while Doc did all the heavy thinking.
I am for Moore getting more playing time as well. I doubt Mcdermott will even be in the rotation when Butler comes back. Too close to the playoffs.
