Ronda Rousey will defend her bantamweight title against Bethe Correia (9-0) in Rio this summer at UFC 190. The event is scheduled to be co-headlined by a decade-old rematch between Shogun Rua and Minotauro Nogueira, the culmination of the latest iteration of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil. Although Correia hasn't faced top competition in the UFC she has beaten two of Rousey's teammates in Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke, which is likely to be the juice in the promotion for the fight. Correia has been calling for a title shot and with the bantamweight division laid to waste by Rousey over the last two years there are few other options available. Some speculated that new arrival Holly Holm might challenge but her debut left the UFC wanting. Outsider Cyborg Santos has not come to an agreement with the UFC on a contract and remains with Invicta for the time being.
