Separated at birth? Ted Cruz looks just like David Ferrie. That pasty washed-out look. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=ted cruz&FORM=HDRSC2 http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=david ferrie&FORM=HDRSC2
If my choice is Hillary or Ted Cruz, Teddy is my man! The though of that woman's performance with Benghazi would force me to Attila as a reasonable alternative. I can't stand the thought of that lady as Commander in Chief.
And right you would be, we all should. "Cruz's parents worked in the oil industry in Calgary, Canada, when he was born. His mother was born in the United States. His father was born in Cuba, but later became a U.S. resident. Cruz argues that because his mother was born in Delaware, he is, in fact, a "natural-born citizen." "The U.S. Constitution says presidential candidates have to be "natural-born citizens." But the Supreme Court has never weighed in with a definition, leaving it open to interpretation." However, in my humble opinion, I believe Cruz is a "Natural Born" citizen. The only definition of that term, that I know of, is in The Law of Nation, referred to often by the founders. The only legislation that uses the term was the 1794 immigration act which would imply that the definition in the Law of Nations was the definition in use. and therefore Canada is the place of Cruz's birth, not his citizenship. Cruz's father is also a long term US resident. So Natural born he is but not so for Obama who's place of birth is Hawaii as his father never was a resident of the US long enough to ever be considered a citizen. The Law of Nations would define Obama as a Kenyan born in the US as did British law, a Kenyan by right of decent. A Natural born citizen of Kenya not the US. The 14th amendment that made all people born in the US, citizens of the US, is rather dumb, but it is the current law. However, it did not endeavor to redefine the term Natural Born Citizen, and since the courts have never rule on the use of this term, where else could they turn but to the source of the term? Actually I think Obama's performance in office to date, illustrates precisely why the requirement to be a Natural Born Citizen was specified for the holder of the office of President. The holder of that office must be a citizen with natural feelings of loyalty to this nation and to no other. This is not possible where a person is or also is a citizen of another nation. http://www.npr.org/blogs/itsallpoli...uz-allowed-to-run-since-he-was-born-in-canada
So, to sum up, Cruz was born in Canada to a US mother and a foreign father. Therefore you consider him Natural Born. Obama was born in the US to a US mother and a foreign father. Therefore you consider him not Natural Born. Interesting. barfo
I don't even like Obama but he was born in Hawaii... Which is a US state...Making him a full fledged American. Cruz was born in another country (Not even a US territory). He doesn't deserve to run IMHO.
