a rivals poster is claiming that Oregon is in the mix to add former FSU Inside LB EJ Levenberry this Spring. He's up to 245 pounds and would have 2 years left to play though I'm not sure whether he'd be eligible in 2015. We shall see... STOMP
Oregon has offered Georgia DE Chidi Okonya http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2110398/highlights/157178375/v2 STOMP
California WR Theo Howard has a Duck offer & will be visiting Eugene at the beginning of March. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4168821/highlights/167687391/v2 STOMP
Lovely. He's the top rated TE on the west coast. Interesting about Levenberry...what college is he going?

Minnesota LB Carter Coughlin visited Eugene at the end of December & says he'll be deciding in the coming weeks. He's down to UO, Ohio State & University of Minnesota. STOMP
More offers to guys. Also, 2017 Shawn Robinson wants to hear from us. As for RB targets, we need power backs this class.
my guess is that Oregon will only take one RB this cycle as the cupboards are pretty full. I hope they continue to focus on overall talent and character over size as we've seen guys big & small dominate in their system. Whoever they land will face a steep depth chart and need to have some patience waiting for their turn to shine. Rivals has been holding some free regional camps the past couple weeks. It's often at these settings that guys are first pinned down for an interview and they reveal offers and recruitment news. The Oregon rivals site is teasing that a whole bunch of new names from the top of their list will be rolled out in articles as holding Duck offers and serious interest. That said, I'm happy to relay that already offered Louisiana DT Rashard Lawrence is planning a 2nd unofficial to Eugene this Spring... he's pretty beastly. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2610296/highlights/218894380/v2 STOMP
Rashard Lawrence is exactly what we need and two or three of him this class!!!!! We have enough skilled players and any more may cause dissention in the ranks! Now IF there was a Rolls Royce sitting around which there wont be, grab him, but this is a defensive class or at least it should be!
After a huge DLine haul last cycle, I'm hearing they're probably looking for just 2 in this next class... one NT & one DE/DT in the Armstead/Buckner/Hart role. With 8 guys entering their Sophomore year of eligibility or younger, they're set up for the future. Ranking needs on the Defensive side, CB & LB head the list while Safety is probably the last position on either side of the ball that needs it's ranks boosted. STOMP
highly rated SoCal WR Theo Howard becomes Oregon's 5th commit in the 2016 cycle. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4168821/highlights/167687391/v2 STOMP
This staff can recruit thats for sure. I cant remember this many high rated players before Spring ball ever! Lubick needs a pay raise BIG TIME
regardless of ratings, in the decade + that I've been following this stuff they've never had close to this many players signed so early. The reputation as a top program is set in the minds of the recruits with Helfrich in his 3rd year and established as the guy. Spread offenses have sprung up all over the country, and those kids all watch/follow Oregon. The impending gloom of sanctions from the Lyles thing have totally cleared out and top guys seem to be committing early so as to secure one of the coveted spots in the class. Even the Official Visits limitations don't seem to matter much as last cycle as they filled their class and still had a handful left over... this cycle they've already landed the 5 guys without using 1 they're taking the "great day to be a Duck" mantra to another level STOMP
Did not see Howard coming to Eugene. Thought he would follow his QB to IMG Academy and then to Tallahassee. Good for Lubick!
SoCal CB Troy Warner will be visiting Eugene during the 1st week of April to take in a Spring practice. Quotes reflect him being very high on the Ducks STOMP
Mississippi CB Nigel Knott recently received an offer too. Like Warner, his quotes reflect him being very high on Oregon as if this was the offer he was waiting on. He's planning a visit for this Spring. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1600259/highlights/185236377/v2 STOMP
rivals is holding regional camps around the country. The SE one based in Atlanta just wrapped up & Duck commit Dillon Mitchell was rated the 2nd best WR. Stargazers can probably count on a fourth when the next round of evaluations happen. Also of note is that he's set to graduate early and enroll at UO next January STOMP
