If you say so. Oh by the way, how many MVP's does James have, anyway? [IMG]I love King James, don't get me wrong. I just think Nash is better than you're giving him credit for is all.

You are basing Lebron's chances of winning the MVP off of the fact that he has not won it before?Okay, first of all, he has only played 3 seasons in the NBA before this one. His team was never good enough for him to be a candidate until last year, and he came in 2nd place, and probably would have won it if the MVP award was still about the best player in the League, not about this making your teammates better bullsh**..And Steve Nash already winning it twice in a row decreases his chances if anything..

The best player in the league has ALSO made his teammates better. Twice. Again, I'm sure James will win an MVP or two eventually, but the topic is Nash vs. James and being a slightly bigger fan of Nash's, I chose him to hopefully win for a 3rd year straight. If it's NOT Nash who wins this year, it SHOULD be Kobe. But that's another topic altogether.

I agree with Noah on this topic. Nash should win the MVP again. He is posting up career high numbers in points and assists and the Suns are playing amazing. But as I said before in this topic, LeBron could blow out his knee and not play the rest of the season, and they would still give the MVP to Bron...

Steve Nash is what makes the Suns go... without him they are average at best. The Cavs are to inconsistent to be considerd a top team in the league... So LeBron is not exactly carrying them yet.

He had no Hughes, Damon Jones was on his the worst career he ever had. Marshall helped a Lil, Gooden is the most inconsistent player I know. And Zeek, helped in a blue moon. James put this team on his back and took them to round 2 and game 7 vs. the best team in the NBA. If that is not carrying your team, then what is?

With a top scorer in Lebron, the Cavs still arent a very high powered offense. Lebron makes Cleveland alot better than Nash.</div>First off the Cavaliers are not a terrible three point shooting team, they have some players on their team that are pretty good three ball shooters, like Donyell Marshall, Damon Jones, and Daniel Gibson. All three of them are pretty good at shooting from long distance.Next off, the reason this team doesn't score a whole lot is because the game is slowed down for the Cavaliers to be a lower scoring game, so that their star has more impact on the game. They slow down the game, let Lebron James control the ball alot, and decide alot what happens to the ball. That is why this team doesn't score alot of points. If Nash was on the team, the offense would change alot, they would not continue to play at a slower speed, because they don't have the forceful player like Lebron James that will have a big impact on the game if it's lower scoring. The Cavaliers would start to run more and the offense would be alot more high powered. The thing is, the defense would let up alot more points per game than the 92 they are allowing right now, and probably be alot worse than it is now.Another point I would like to make, is how wrong everyone is in thinking that Steve Nash would only be a good point guard in a running offense. That is completely wrong, and something I wish people would stop saying. Steve Nash would be good in a slower offense, he would be a good player in any offense he was to be in. Nash is just a very good point guard. He is the best three point shooting point guard in the league, someting that could fit into any offense. He has as good of a court vision as anyone else in the league. In the half court, he see's and runs the pick and roll better than anyone else in the league. He is the master of initiating the pick and roll and finding the open person. I personally like Tim Duncan for MVP, but if I was forced to pick a person to be the MVP out of these two it would be hard. Both are super valuable to their team. If you switched them, I think both would be successful with their teams they switch to and make the playoffs, but neither would be as successful as they are now. So since it's hard to clearly see which one is more valuable, I think that's when you have to go with the better player of the two. That my friends, is Lebron James, and why I believe he should be the MVP of these two.
