    Ah, thank you Tom.........

    No Potala Palace tour.......

At what point will you be in Tianemen Square, pumping your fist, tossing "Free Tibet" stickers off the roof of a tall building, and Yelling (with your fist in the air above your head), [yelling] 'Free Tibet', and quit dumping your Chinese Nuclear Waste in the Himalaya's......

Who in their right mind would put nuclear waste atop the highest Mt. Tops in the World, only to eventually feed down into the Rivers below??? The Chinese that's who, along with their lead painted toys........

Or you could simply lobby for Human Rights and Freedoms........! LMAO.....!

Sorry man, Fuck Tibet.....I'd settle for a free California.

BTW it was dragon festival in Tian'amen......lots of serious soldiers with automatic weapons.

LOL, Free Caly would effect a helluva lot more peeps, than Tibet. I'll take the latter also.

Tom, as you mentioned with Soldiers galore in Tian'amen:

1- what was getting thru Customs like?

2- are you allowed to take Pics at will?

3- let me know what boarding your flight back is like, what kind of rigamarole do the Chinese put a boarding passenger thru, vs how its done in the States......and last

4- I do hope you got some good pics of The Forbidden City, and hope you can post a pic of the Palace.....! BTW-did you take a tour of the Palace, and did the Chinese let you take pic inside the "Palace of Heavenly Purity"/Imperial Palace.....Were you able to go inside the Palace?

Sorry, You said Forbidden City, I replied of a Forbidden Kingdom, and ye pointed out a Nano-E-Welfare Nation.....
Not a helluva lot of difference b/t southern Cal (these days) and Puerto Rico.......

Believe it or not, the 70s-80s here in Caly, were once Incredible....this state was a great one, in its day, now its dying of Social Cancer......(entitlements for all, incl. illegals).......

What I'd give to be in your Shoes Tom.....

I'm not a big modern day China Fan, but studied and read tons of books, in Asian History, and have never been able to get the plight b/t the Chinese (dating back 1,000s of yrs ago, to the Khans), vs Tibet. If I'm not mistaken Tibet ruled China for 1,500 years out of the last 2,000.

Perhaps those commy bastads invaded cuz they liked the Tibetan Snow Lion Statues better than their own....

Mao really fucked up Imperial China........one of WWII's mistakes, was to take China back from the Japanese IMO....

PS: How was the smog in Bejing?
