Kidd (12 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds) collected the 79th triple-double of his career in the Nets' 105-92 victory over Memphis last night."To have 79, I'm blessed and my teammates are a big reason for that. I just try to go out there and play the game at a high level and help my team win in any category that may be," said Kidd, who now trails only Oscar Robertson (181) and Magic Johnson (138) on the all-time list after his 41st as a Net and fourth this season."To have 79 in a career, I'm very honored. Hopefully it doesn't stop there. I'm about winning. Tonight, we finally did that."Wilt, just his name talks historically, it's huge. He changed the game of basketball."To be able to pass somebody who had an impact on the game is a great honor."</div>Just amazing, he's 6/4 for christ's sake. This man is unbelievable.
Re: Jason Kidd moves into 3rd on the all time TD's list Looks like he'll stay at 3rd place, it'll be very hard to pass Magic. Great job by Kidd, he's always been my favorite point guard.
Re: Jason Kidd moves into 3rd on the all time TD's list I bet he can't throw more TD's then Peyton Manning. :lmao-1: Any ways, Congrats to him.

I think he still has a legitimate shot to hit 100 though, that would be a huge accomplishment.
Re: Jason Kidd moves into 3rd on the all time TD's list Jkidd is my favorite PG of all time of course, and I think he will break 100 by the end of his carrer. It is just amazing what he could do on the floor for his size. I know Magic Johnson was way taller then him , and I think the Big O was too. But the way he does it is just amazing. I watched the game last night and I had no idea he was on his way to a triple double. He does his job very quietly and just gets the job done night in and night out.
Re: Jason Kidd moves into 3rd on the all time TD's list Just shows how great of an all around and unselfish player he is, whats truely amazing is how he can 10+ rebound games and like Lakaboy said, he is only 6'4 and a PG for crying out loud. Congrats to one of the greatest Points of all time.

I'm not sure if JKidd will end up with 100 triple-doubles, though. If he does, I'll be proud of the man. JKidd is a great PG. :worthy: </span>
