It's the 2nd quarter and Houston is up 35-29. I just turned it off and Kobe did a pretty move on Yao :dribble:Sorry I would've done a preview but I forgot about this and I got my haircut haha. But here it is.
and LO went out of the game early in the first with a right knee sprain. He will NOT play anymore tonight.

Lakers now up 52-51. Yao just committed the offensive foul Ronny just hit a free throw. 53-51Good game so far.
The Rockets are making a miracle come back, but shot themselves in the foot with free throw shooting. Four missed in the final two minutes of the game, and settling for to many three's. They could have taken the ball to the rim a whole bunch more there.

Those refs were driving me crazy...one bad call after another..and on top of that the Laker's shot like crap in the 4th quarter and ended up putting Kobe and Kwame back in the game. Lamar Odom went out with an injury early on which hurt us also. The Laker's were up by 27 or so to start the 4th and ended up only winning by 8. The Rockets actually could have won the game but like Valo said, they couldn't make a freethrow. I'm just happy we walked away with a Win...tomorrow we play the Mavericks in Dallas. I can only hope for the best. :dribble:
That was a close one. We saw the difference between playing on the road and at home. Bench panicked, something that didn?t happen at home. I was hoping our starters didn?t have to come back since they have a big game against Dallas tomorrow. We got the win and that what counts.
I'm not going to go into our 4th quarter breakdown. But that 2nd and 3rd quarter was triangle ball at it's finest. The offense looked so good when kobe was running it. I think we need to seriously consider moving kobe permantely as the facilitator. It just looks better with him running it.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mocitytx @ Dec 6 2006, 07:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>thanks...I'm newThe Lakers record is phoney, that's all I'm saying(or typing...lol)they're not even close(talent wise) to the big 3 in Texas</div>http://www.bball-world.net/forum/index.php...=18514&st=0I still remember when this was said, and the accusation was that the Lakers were a fraud. Now the Lakes are 2-0 against the big three in Texas having beat both the Spurs and the Rockets, and they did one of those on the road in the Rockets houses. Maybe people will start realizing this team was built nicely, and has all the pieces they need to be a successful team this year. You don't always have to have the most talent on the court, you just have to have the pieces that compliment each other nicely, and that's what the Lakers have.
Had Houston had Tmac, they would have won. Altough they did make a nice comback in the fourth. Until Padget missed both those free throws

Hayes also missed two free throws late in the game, before Padget missed his, so you got to blame him also.
