Incredible job by GarPax, landing such a stud with the 23rd pick in the draft. Landing an All-Star with the 30th pick of the same draft? Double incredible.
A sycophant I am not. Chicago, where dynasties go to die. That's what management did for us. I don't see why optimism is all that great for these peoples' behalf.
Hah! There's only been one Chicago sports dynasty in my lifetime. In its death, it gave birth to eternal controversy. Did it die of natural causes or was it murdered. We've been arguing ever since.
I'd say neither, Krause played Kervorkian. And Hospital Administrator Reinsdorf did nothing to stop it, basically. The dynasty was just about to die of old age, ironically the lockout and 50-game season might have given it life for one more year. But I'd also say Phil and MJ had pretty liberal living wills, they weren't much interested in fighting to live another year. (Or living to fight another year, whichever you prefer).
The 29th pick in the draft over the past 20 years: Josh Heustis Archie Goodwin Marquis Teague Cory Joseph Daniel Orton Toney Douglas DJ White Alando Tucker Mardy Collins Wayne Simien David Harrison Josh Howard Dan Dickau Tony Parker Mark Madsen Leon Smith Nazr Mohammed Serge Zwikker Travis Knight Cory Alexander The fact that Nazr is easily in the Top-5 #29 picks of the last 20 years says it all.
Organizations win championships. If those organizations are the Celtics or Lakers or Spurs. Why not emulate what they do to be successful? Unless that isn't the goal.
You're a sycophant for anti-Bulls management icons like PJax. The current Bulls management inherited a team that won 33% or fewer of their games and missed the playoffs 6 seasons in a row. They turned this around and their teams made the playoffs in 9 of the last 10 seasons. They have not won the title. No escaping that, but IMO, they deserve better than people like you have given them.
I don't think you understand what a sycophant is then. How's that 17 year rebuilding plan working out?
