and why I think there should be substance clauses in all contracts.........

Hamilton with all his bullshit still gets to play & earn his $25M per

Yesterday MLB suspended the Twins Ervin Santana who was signed during the off season (4 yrs @ 55M), for 80 games for PED use. Now correct me if I'm wrong (which would be rare) but doesn't Santana STILL get paid during his suspension?

Okay shmukleberry, I was the only one HERE who thought Arod WOULD MAKE IT OUT OF Spring Training.

    Lmao......how 'bout YOU?
Were YOU one of "them" who said he would pack it in or break down during SPRING TRAININg? Lmaooooooo. You sure were.....lmao!

And remember➡ this is referring to SPRING TRAINING.
So don't come back here if/when Arod and his 39 yr old, bad hips body happens to break down during the course of a six month season.
I'm well aware of the pitfalls of having a 39 year old player with a history of hip/leg issues not to mention any basic pulled muscle ect problem.

I DID say - I believe he has enough "in the tank" to help this team during the reg season as a part time/platoon DH and as soon as he knocks in a run or two helping the Yanks win a game, I am proven "RIGHT", twice......
......and this concerns only the Arod matter.

    "Right" - twice!

    Now go run along.

No pay for Ervin during the suspension per ESPN article on his suspension. Sock it to 'em.

I believe that the overall opinion of this board was the HOPE that A-rod would not make it out of Spring Training. That being said I will state that IMO anyone who roots for that Ass after the way he dragged his Pinstripes through the mud, lied like a rug along with all his other crap should take a long hard look at themselves in a mirror and wonder if they really are a fan of this Yankee Team.

I hear ya, you AND I can dislike him all we want, but unlike most on this board, my opinion is - if he's on the team, isn't causing any problems or friction amoung his teammates......I wouldn't mind if he hits a Grand Slam to win the WS and THAT World Series title would certainly go into the books and stay there!

    Go Yanks!

Sorry Redsox fans, Yankees before your team in my world. lol

    GO YANKS!

I don't know who this idol is that you have in mind or what he said EXACTLY but I did use the word MOST said they hoped A-Rod wouldn't make it out of ST not ALL. You seem to have selective comprehension.

A-rod is the typical egoist. "I need praise.......but I'm outta here if team loses."
Not the kind of ballplayer I want on my team. Selfish prick. Give him time.
He'll show exactly who he is. He's his own worst enemy.
    There was a time, long ago.......a player had to earn those pinstripes;
and yes, he totally abused those pinstripes. It's a sham that he's still
    a Yankee.............in name only.

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I will now be deleting posts. Not putting up with this stupidity any longer.
