While small, I really liked what little I saw of him last night, no pun intended. He fights hard on D, and is incredibly quick. Has got great handles and appears to have good vision/bbiq.
I liked what I saw. He tried some D-League passes that aren't going to fly here, but he tried, he's fearless, and he'll learn.
He was on the Big Ten all-defensive team as a junior in 2011-12. (Then blew his Achilles the next year and played at about 75% as a redshirt senior.)
The Nets are doing it too. Stumptown may be onto something: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/237312/Earl-Clark-Signs-Two-Year-Deal-With-Nets
Turning out to be a pretty good signing by Neil. Looks like he could be a useful bench player for the Blazers in the future.
