I was thinking the same thing earlier in the week. We lost to Milwaukee. struggled to beat Detroit. Rose wont help us rebound. He can help defend the high pick and roll. We are bad at that. He cant defend everyone at the 3 pt line. That being said, I am not sad that we lost. With Rose we could have won this game. The 3's they hit was just too much to over come.
There's a Noah quote going around about how the Bulls have been saving up that next level of play for the playoffs. We shall see.

We shall indeed. However, the way that Mirotic was knocked around today, I doubt that he is ready. If other teams play him physical it affects his game.
That's the sort of thing a good coach will pick up from the game films. E'Twaun Moore as 0-2 in 10 minutes with 2 fouls. +/- of -5. If he's the answer to a question, you've got trouble. Mirotic got 12/10 in 24 minutes, in spite of shooting 3-12 from the field. I don't think LeBron guarded DunVP much. He made him pay. I bet he does guard him in the playoffs, or at least someone will. Taj was downright awful. Jo better have that extra gear.
