Just a bit of perspective when we are thinking of our future roster years down the road. It seems like we've stuck with our same players and made minimal roster changes yet only three players have been here long. LaMarcus has completed 8 seasons with the Blazers. This is his 9th year Nic 6 seasons Wes 4 seasons Lillard, Meyers, Freeland have each completed 2 full seasons with the team. Robin, CJ, Wright, Crabbe have only completed 1 season; last year. Steve Blake is an unusual case having completed 3 full seasons with our team dating back almost 10 years; part of another season and then of course now he is here again. He had 2 full years with Washington; 3 full seasons with the Lakers where he was then traded away from part way through last season. Overall I really like our roster it has good veteran talent with a balance of young upside, hope we can keep it together. But if we look at NBA history normally there are numerous unexpected changes so this group could have some big different pieces in 3 years.
I love this team, I'd be ecstatic if we kept the entire roster together for some few more years at least if possible. I really think they have potential to be a champion (with Wes coming back good)
