Mirotic -14, Taj -18. Of course, everyone in the world knows Mirotic isn't a three, and that the team plays better when he is at PF... well, apparently everyone but Thibs. Oh well, only 3 1/2 more games, then however many it takes us to get eliminated in the playoffs. Then, hopefully, we'll have a coach who knows at least a little bit about offense.
Rough game for Niko. To be expected from a rookie. Heavy minutes for Snell. He's playing terrible on offense. Bulls are not going to win many games shooting 25%.
Rose kinda sucked his 2nd time in the game. At the half Dunleavy, Noah, and Snell still combine for zero points. Dunleavy has a rebound and 2 steals in his 15:16. He'd be the guy playing opposite Mirotic at PF? Snell has 3 rebounds. Noah has 2 rebounds and an assist. ZERO from 3/5 of the starting lineup. But sure, Thibs could have played someone else. Taj and Brooks are the only two players off the bench with at least one point.
Huge turnaround in Q3 and start of Q4. All 5 starters contributed. That's pretty much all we need. Not 2-on-5.
Senor 4th Quarter with two big daggers. 9 points in 13 minutes with a .580 TS%, another very efficient night. Even though he's spent the whole game playing out of position. Brooks (.545 TS%) the only other Bull over 50% TS tonight, what an ugly offensive game. DWade 4/19 for 9 points with 5 turnovers. Big props to Snell for his D.
-22 on the +/- for Niko on the night. The Bulls were blown out with him on the floor. But hey, rookies are rookies. He'll bounce back.
