RHP - Nathan Eovaldi (6-14, 4.37 ERA) VS. LHP - Wade Miley (8-12, 4.34 ERA) NOTE: fwiw: Bostons two new players Pablo Sandoval & Hanley Ramirez, tattooed Eovaldi in the NL last season going a combined 10-16 with 12 RBI. Ellsbury Gardner A-Rod Teixeira McCann Headley Young Drew Petit.
Good info on Pablo/Hanley vs Eovaldi. Be interesting to see how Eovaldi fairs vs Boston AND those two hitters. This will be a nice early season test for our new #4 SP.
Were getting the game here on the West Coast......fkn fantastic...... Did you say Riflery Rick........Yeah, I'd like to take a rifle to Trash-Man and The Kidz.....
...I'm assuming it's because DiDi is so bad vs LHed pitching...but then again, how does the kid improve vs LHers if he's not allowed to face them?
BTW: I don't know who else has the pleasure of watching the game tonight here in NY. Its being broadcast on channel 11 (WPIX) which was the home of the Yankees from 1951 until 1998. And every now & then they're showing old clips of the fun in the booth between Phil Rizzuto, Bill White & Bobby Murcer. Damn how I miss those guys. You huckleberry.
Exactly, on one hand, the org. says how talented he is and then on the 4th game of season they start a journeyman over him. It's just idiotic.
Eovaldi doing his job keeping the Yankees in this game by giving up only 1 run through 4 BUT..........one excuse me hit by Gardner through 4 just isn't going to get it done.
I swear it's as if they're finding ways to lose. And always nice to see that Drew is taking over where he left off last season.
Cashman can go f himself with this slop he has handed up. Headley friggin goddamn stinks. I don't understand the obsession with his piece of trash. Yeah lets sign him to a big money four year deal. Drew is garbage, Ryan is a bench player and we're watching some clown they picked up for some cash play second.
Who was saying that our infield defense would be MUCH better this year. Nice flub Petit on an easy grounder.
