After comparing the 2 videos, I'd have to say it's murder one.

I don't know his motivation but it doesn't appear at all that he momentarily lost his cool.

His demeanor, IN BOTH VIDEOS, is calm and purposeful with no indication of rage or loss of control.

I agree. There is no premeditation to that murder. But this was not manslaughter. He did not get drunk and hit someone with his car. He shot the guy 8 times in the back. That is Murder IMO.

People misunderstand "premeditation". There is no time limit involved. You can choose to kill, pull the trigger 1 second later, and it is still premeditated murder.

The video does not indicate any loss of control, which would reduce the charges.

This guy should never have been a cop. He just didn't have the temperment.

That would be my take also. No amount of jail time fixes it either. The real crime was committed when he was put on duty. The hiring screening process or the training process should have
typed him as unfit for police duty.

So his boss committed the real crime? Wouldnt his boss's boss have committed the real crime? He was after all the one who hired the one who hired the cop. Or his boss? Or his boss's boss? Couldn't this continue all the way to the very top of governm....

Oh, I get it. Its Obamas fault. Well played.

Jury In S.C. Police Shooting Trial Says It Is Struggling To Reach Verdict

One of the 12 jurors could not agree with the other 11 on a guilty verdict. They will resume deliberating Monday.

    The Judge said:
I thought for sure the jurors were going to agree on a guilty verdict when they began deliberations.

The juror is not finding him innocent, he just isn't finding him guilty of Murder.

just watched. and i agree, murderer plain and simple. dude should burn in hell & jail.

also policies need to be changed all across the nation , there is no WAY a police policy should allow you to shoot an unarmed man running away from you.

Yeah the police said he shot because he felt threatned...dude was running away...wouldnt have looked back...when you shoot some one in the back that is not self defense....that is cowardice...that is murder

Glad you agree. Jurors are never charged with determining if a person is innocent.

Threatened when he ran away?? Wow, That's fucked up. You are also right, it's not self defense when you shoot someone in the back, this is also how citizens with CHL's get charged w/crimes because they don't understand the laws.

As i said in April... the cop should be guilty of murder one. I am pro blue, but they aren't above the law.
