The one good thing about Thibs' insistence on playing Niko at SF and Hinrich ahead of Snell at SG is that it will get this season over with that much quicker. Then we can get a "B" to "C" who understands rotations and not overusing your players, who isn't afraid to play the better young player ahead of the veteran, and who understands that you have to develop your entire roster during the season so that guys are able to be counted on when they are needed. It's a shame the Warriors grabbed Steve Kerr out of the broadcast booth, what he's done with the Warriors is exactly what this team needs. Don't get me wrong, part of this mess is on GarPax as well. They didn't have enough faith that Niko had plenty of professional experience and that he would be able to perform at the level we've seen all season (when he's been given the chance at PF by the coach). If they would have traded Taj for an $8-$12 million combo guard before the season, and spent the Room MLE on a 4th big to replace Taj, this team could have easily been sitting on 55-60 wins and be looking at be looking at a real chance to get to the Finals, even with all the coaching mistakes.
Sorry for the rant in the middle of the game thread, but to me this game is just a perfect microcosm of the entire season. I'm sure the Bulls will pull out the win because the Sixers have no talent on the floor at all, but this should be a 20-point game by now.
