Here you go again you're STILL doing it. You've now mentioned this same argument in over a dozen different threads. Turn the record over already.

And you still haven't responded to post #16..................................................HONESTLY!

Just admit it, you jumped all over me because I commented on the Yanks after the first week (as opposed to the first 5 games) and both of you got soundly thrashed.

I'm done here.....you can backtrack and try to do damage control?

Let's move on.....unless you still feel embarrassed or guilty. Lol

It comes down to the fact that the team is batting .233 right now with 51 collective K's... ARod & Young are batting .300 w/ 1 HR each in 6 and 5 games respectively, Petit & JR Murphy are batting .286 and neither with a HR in 5 & 3 games respectively, McCann is batting .278 w/ 1 HR in 4 games, and everyone else is batting less... I'd rather see a team batting .280 or better with only a few HRs than the likes of Headley & Tex batting .222 with 2 HR each in 6 and 5 games respectively... I'd rather see consistency than hope & pray on the long ball...

While 31 runs in 6 games is a nice 5.17 runs/game average, take out the unlikely to be the norm 14 runs yesterday and they are 3.4 runs/game.... Same with the ERA... 3.38 right now... but that is basically over 7 games, not 6... Their ERA is closer to 3.94... Tanaka has an ERA of 7, CC has an ERA of 6.35, Eovaldi has an ERA of 5.06, and Chris Martin in relief has an ERA of 4.91... so, lets be real... While I'm surprised and happy to see A-Rod doing well, he's really the only one.

...lol, rick and I "got soundly thrashed"?...I don't doubt that's how you really see things...and it pretty much confirms my suspicions...you've gone completely nuts.

You try to justify one game to excuse the previous 5 & you call that TRASHING. Reality check.

Now we'll move on. That is until such time as you bring this all up again.

    responding to your post #16

Unlike you, I at least waited for the Yanks to finish their first two series and the SP to make it's first rotation.
Oh, I think I understand, if the Yanks had lost 10-0 to Boston last night you think I wouldn't have anything to say.....or, to put it another way, convincing victories should be discounted, after all, they skewer the stats.....except when it happens to the Yanks......correct?
    Have I got it right?

    Let's move on, shall we.....
.....and I hope the Yanks don't win 15-0 tonight, it might taint the team stats. Lol

HOLY SHIT! there is something between your ears. You FINALLY get it. Because the stats would have been worse than they already were & you would have had NOTHING to beat your chest about. The OPPORTUNITY (there's that word again) wouldn't have been there for you to play devils advocate based on one good game. Welcome to reality. Now stop pretending that you don't know what I'm talking about. Your "WHO ME?" approach to responding to posts is not only comical but its approaching childish.

    "beat my chest"?

Did I NOT say even if the Yanks had lost 10-0 last night to Boston I would still have "something" to say after the first two series?

Talk about trying to communicate with a dolphin, did you read MY post # 28?
It included a response to your #16 ....and more. Are you thick headed?.......
.......and the other parrot seems to have a one track biased mind when it comes to me....quite okay.......he's exposed as the ignorant one....but I still like him, lol.

If I say the bases are white, he'll say they're purple....and you'll agree! lol

Okay, we had a little fun, let's get these Yanks going. Fair enough?

...I've already told you about 4-5 times, once I've read your BS the first time I have no desire to read it again because it does not change a thing.

And did I not respond in post #16 saying "No you wouldn't" ?

Why do I bother? I'd have better luck teaching algebra to a 3 year old.

...then don't ask me to read it again, dumbass.

...now, try arguing with yourself for awhile and see how you like it.
