http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/437..._request_trade/sorry if there's already a topic on this, but my pc is really, really slow, and if I check the clippers section it will take 15 minutes.so where will he end up?
Wow, that has to suck for the Clippers. Easily there best bench player is asking for a trade and LA is already having it's fair share of troubles now. Corey can end up anywhere really, I'm sure most teams will love a guy who can get you 15 points while coming off the bench, maybe LA and Philly can use Corey in a trade for Iverson.
What sucks is the Iverson has set the f*cking trend for any player to demand a trade. Seriously thats what pisses me off, unproffessional attitude, play it out babies.
Thats bullsh**, its been known that Maggette wanted to be traded, for the fact he isnt starting and hes a allstar caliber player.I hope the Mike Miller for Maggette thing happens.
man, whenever a player is unhappy they just ask for a trade? man just play it out and try to help out the team anyway you can. I mean iverson has been in a losing situation and unhappy for many years but maggette has been fine the whole time he has been in LA

It's about time he gets out of the nasty situation in philly.as for the topic, I think toronto would be a pretty good fit. They have always had a ton of shooters, a slasher would be nice. there's also the rumor for mike miller.

And Iverson didn't "demand" a trade... he "asked" for a trade. He didn't go public with it either... the organization made it public.Anyway, the Clippers were happy dealing Maggette for Iverson, but the Sixers want Shaun Livingston as well and that is what is deterring the Clippers from making that move at this point in time.

Players will leave teams like never before and trust me. How quickly and easily did Iverson get this done? He didnt have to get angry, go public or anything. Its become an "easy" thing to just demand a trade. When in reality, you work to make your team better. If you cant make your team better, train harder to make yourself better, which in sense makes the team better.
Maggetti has wanted out of Clipperland for a while now, remember a couple of years ago he tried leaving by signing that offer sheet with the Jazz. that being said, I think Utah could a potential suiter for Maggetti. only problem is Utah doesn't have anyone the Clippers would want.
Most players dont like uprooting their homes and going to a whole new system and team UNLESS they are completely unhappy. And people say they should suck it up, really...if you dont like being where you are, your just going to be a negative aura in the lockeroom and you wont play to the potential.
damn, AI did it now maggette. you think marbury will ask for a trade? :shifty2: maggette is a good player and a good scorer. whoever needs a scorer will go after him.

And why would everyone follow in AI's steps and demand trades when this has been happening for years?austingriz made a good point also...</span></span>

And if you honestly just said implied that allen iverson doesn't make his team better, just stop now.
Yeah, I made a thread about this earlier today in the Clippers forum, but I should have known better: we have no Clippers fans! But I have no idea where he'll go. But anyone thinking he'll go to Philly in a deal for Iverson, along with Livingston, I will tell you this: not going to happen. Livingston is staying.
How about to the Bobcats for Gerald Wallace and Jake Voskhul. Wallace would be the defensive type player that Dunleavy likes and Voskhul is a serviceable backup center who could be a slight uprade as the backup to Kaman. Maggette would be the scorer the Bobcats need and their leader. He would have a chance to be "the guy". Salaries match, thoughts?
No way DRob. Charlotte should most definitely not deal Gerald Wallace for Corey Maggette. Maggette may be able to score more points, but Wallace's defensive abilities are too valuable. Plus, they have a nice thing going with the youth, along with a veteran leader in Brevin Knight.
I always Liked Maggette. He is a pretty good player.I wouldn't mind the Cavs throwing out and trying to grab him.

Before Gerald went to Charlotte he was like the 9th man on Sacramento. He's getting the minutes he is because theres no one else on Charlotte. I think Maggette could do some things in Charlotte.</span></span>
I knew this was bound to happen. A player like Maggette probably doesn't want to come off the bench when he could start for most other teams..His production was quietly lowering, and I think a change of scenery would rejuvenate his career.
