that dude is so ugly :shok: but it could happen. he's a good shooter and people say he's vlade and charles oakley mixed. I only saw him play once but I didn't see any oak man in this dude. he is ugly like vlade so I can see that.

Yeah, Garbo is a good basketball player. He is an okay defender, he can shoot the mid range, he's good at faking out his defenders and then going into the lane for a lay up or free throws..He is a smart basketball player who is good at passing, rebounding, getting steals, he's just a good overall basketball player.As for ROY, if someone doesn't emerge and start playing really well, Garbo might have a shot at it...The rookie class was terrible this year..
For some reason, Garbo hasn't been consistently hitting those 3's.. he's an okay mid-range shooter though. I like how he uses his knowledge to play, and he does a lot of hustle plays (taking charges, dives for loose balls, fight for rebounds, etc)
Yeah, I thought he was going to be a three point shooter when the Raps got him, but he is not accurate at all from three. Oh well, his mid range game is pretty good.
He needs a bit of practice,but I agree he is very inconsistent. Though he has a very very high basketball IQ, I mean he reads the defense nicely, and knows what to do. He is just bad at scoring on a constant basis. I want to see him mature as the season goes on.
I am not the bigest fan of Garbo's shot at times but I have been impressed with him after his rough start. He seems to struggle with the NBA three.
