Hey, I'm just wondering, is every team forum going to have their own individual forum color? I've noticed the Raptors forum got new colors, so I was wondering if you guys were going to do the same for every other team forum? Because it gets really bland seeing blue all the time

I've noticed the Raptors forum got new colors, so I was wondering if you guys were going to do the same for every other team forum? Because it gets really bland seeing blue all the time

Absolutely.
LT7 (one of our GMs) has been going thru the forums adding a first cut at colorizing them all. The mods can tweak the colors after that, as surely there'll be some suggestions to make colors less bright or brighter or whatever.

QUOTE (Brian)

Why are the titles so small and the dates and subtitles so huge? It hurts my eyes

The titles are larger than the descriptions and dates.
If you are seeing something different, a URL would help so I can see it (and fix it).

Something that I think would be cool- For each team forum, have the mods maybecreate a threadand sticky it up at the top where it gives a brief description of the player. That way if someone needs to know about who Shaquille O'Neal or Chris Quinn is, they can go to the Heat Forum and find out more information about the player. Basic things like school, position, height, weight, birthdate, and some of the players' most obvious strengths and weaknesses. Or have it link directly from each player on the roster on the side of the page.
We do have player pages and league and team stats as well as a historical stats database (and Storyteller's salaries, too).

Any updates on when a search feature will be added? Can we use a google one to search the site for a temporary solution?
Where that SportsTwo Banner (and the clock/date is), will eventually, that be able to be customized from forum to forum? Like a Bulls banner up there in the Bulls forum. Now just an idea for that, instead of the clock in the specific team forums, maybe have a current game scoreboard thing there.
Some banners are lower in some of the team forums, and those don't particularly make the pages look good, and just clutter it up, taking away from the clean cut look.

what about after a year of posting it wipes afresh like sportsbut you can click on a year (season)and get to that post as it could be clog the forums up with completly irrelevent threads
If i don't respond to each and every idea, it doesn't mean I'm ignoring any of them. I encourage you all to make all the suggestions you think are good. I do keep a notebook next to my computer where I write stuff down as I see it.

I'm working on replacing the editor right now. Then search function. Then I can start to think about shoutbox

The newer threads end up at the front of the forum, and the older ones in the back.
Then when it comes to finding older threads that you want, once the search engine is working, it will be easy as easy mac.

QUOTE (The Legend)

^Master Shake? When did you become a mod? Or like the Hawks?
Lol. They asked me if I would like to be a mod, so I agreed. Also the Raptor forum has 4 great mods, so they asked if I would like to mod any other forum. The Hawks are my second favorite team, so I mod in that forum. Check it out, it's the best forum on S2
