I'm encouraged by Crabbe's shot and athletic ability.

It's the development between his rather unique ears where he needs the work. Heck, even Frazier was having to tell him what he should be doing.

Next game, and next season, are going to help him.

Go read the Pregame. Tell me now that they should have had any of them on the floor last night?

That's it? the first three quarters. What's the follow up?

I was just curious. All of your observations seemed to have been box score based.

I thought that was where you were going. Kind of a strange comment too. If you watched the same game I did, you would see our guards driving in there chucking something up time after time.
Some of the time with no friggin chance among a several bigger defenders. All this while the Portland big guys were wide open watching the action. Then I see bounce passes to Leonard and Rolo
again, so damn low they have no chance to make a play. I hate bounce passes to seven foot guys going to the hoop! These observation cause me to check the box and see just what the count is. I have the box open every night whether watching on TV or listening when I can get it on radio. (see comment around the end of first quarter)

This night, I thought our guards needed an IQ booster, or perhaps a boot to the ass. The box score confirms my assessment.

Frazier isn't a jump shooter, but his shot is better than that. His first couple shots last night looked good, just didn't fall. The second half of his shots were rushed (though one was an attempt to beat the shot clock) and maybe was trying a bit too hard to take advantage of his PT.

Can't really blame the guy. He was competing hard and if he'd managed to come up big it would have been good for him and us. Shooting threes is not really his job though at this point. I get the feeling his decision making and court awareness are good, he needs more NBA time to figure a few things out. I like him.
