Aaron Hernandez found guilty of 1st degree murder; http://www.aol.com/article/2015/04/...of-1st-degree-murder/21172550/?ncid=webmail16 * *[Caution; AOL alert]
Not a surprising verdict. The offering of a completely different defense during closing arguments was pretty laughable. Not to mention there wasn't much of a defense to begin with. He's still to be tried for the double murder charges from the drive by incident.
My son had an interesting question last night; If he's found not guilty today, do you think a team would sign him? I told him I wasn't sure how the other double murder trial might come into play but it is, after all, the NFL so I wouldn't be surprised.
...I thought that because the prosecution might have a hard time establishing a clear motive and because the murder weapon was never produced and because the jury took 7 days to decide, it may have resulted in a hung jury.
Same here, I felt he was guilty all along, but with Jury's, ya' never know......I was expecting a Hung Jury, due to the same reasons noted in your Thread....! In the OJ Case, they should of Hung the Jurors........!!!
Another case of some idiot on a riches to rags trip. All that going for them and they just piss it away.
The comments from members of the jury are very telling. Saying they were shocked when during closing arguments the defense admitted he was at the scene of the murder. Also, Patriots owner Robert Kraft testified that Hernandez told him he didn't do it and was at a club at the time of the murder. The time of death wouldn't of been known by Hernandez two years ago. Well of course that was proven to be untrue but it shows the pattern of lies Hernandez had concocted from the start.
...not sure how he can claim he was not there at the time of the murder...wasn't there a joint/roach found at the crime scene with Hernandez's DNA on it?
A roach 3/4s smoked, some Peyote Barf, all with his DNA on it.....Looks can be deceiving, but Aaron had a guilty look on his face, since day one..... kinda' like OJ, but He Was Innocent as Judged by a Jury of His Peers, who ALL Hated everything about the LAPD......but boyo did those Chitlins love OJ.....its a freaking wonder he wasn't handing out autographs to the jury too.... On the Criminal OJ Trial, the biggest mistake the LA-DA made, was allowing for a change in venue to downtown, instead of upbeat upscale Santa Monica...
Ah but they have on helluva Football Program at Leavenworth, a lot like in the Longest Yard..... the longest yard Aaron will have, will be the last yard to his jail cell.........(and it couldn't of happened to a nicer guy, now lets frame Tom Brady)......
You bet, any time I hear anyone compare Brady to Montana, well it sets of a Roman Candle in my effing head..........LOL......!!!
