I looked into it from Mexico years ago. Its was just a $10,000 fine if you got caught so they purposely didn't stamp Americans passports.

My memory is about the same, I especially remember being recalled to duty in 62 because of those bastards (Ruskis too).
I did get to Cuba before those guys took over though, via Gitmo. Pretty neat place.

Wait, this is too easy! You desire to be in Gitmo! Where do I begin?

Sorry you have so much difficulty. You were free to go where ever you like on the island while at Gitmo in the day before Castro screwed it up.

We were still free to visit there for the last 50 years. It's the U.S. government which wouldn't let us out.

Did you earn MVC (Most valuable communist) for this insane support? You are aware that your Democrat president started the ban right?

You don't support the freedom to travel? Afraid that we might find out that some of your propaganda is false?

Next thing you'll say is that it's unpatriotic to visit Iraq or Libya to check out whether our controlled media is slanted. Or Greece or Sudan or Sri Lanka or Colombia or Yemen or...anywhere.

So what you are saying is that you disagree with the Democratic President John F Kennedy?

You must have been Republican back in the 60's

Well...how did you know? My friend and I wrote out sheets and put them on all the neighbors front doors. They said, "Vote for Nixon if you can. Kennedy belongs in the garbage can!"

Hillary worked on the 1964 Goldwater and 1968 Rockefeller campaigns. (For you young uns, Rockefeller, Scranton, and Romney were the Republican runners-up to Nixon. Bobby Kennedy would have won the whole thing, but was killed by Sirhan, who even under police hypnosis later, couldn't remember what he was doing for days before he killed him, or why he did it, or why he kept a journal with "RFK must die" written over and over. Hypnotists say that means he was pre-hypnotized to forget what he was doing.)

She would have been 13 in 1960, 17 in 1964.

The hypnosis thing is hysterical. Both at being funny and in the literal sense of the word.

Sirhan's lawyers argued in court for the hypnosis theory. You think it's funny, but they took it seriously. Look up Sirhan hypnosis in a search engine.

A person under hypnosis won't commit murder unless he's predisposed to commit murder.

    Hysterical indeed.

    http://www.livescience.com/17456-rfk-assassination-sirhan-sirhan-hypnotized.html

According to Kluft, it is not possible to hypnotize someone to do something that obviously violates their beliefs or desires. In hypnosis, though, context is everything. Say, for example, an unethical hypnotist wanted to hypnotize a suggestible vegetarian to eat a steak. If the hypnotist simply put the vegetarian into a state of hypnosis and then presented him or her with a steak, identified it as a steak, and told the person to eat it, the hypnotized vegetarian would almost certainly refuse.

So you think that American rumors of North Korea fielding Manchurian candidates during the Korean War were just American propaganda. The pro-war types like you believed it as much as you believe in Sadaam's rape rooms. You'd have sung a different tune, had you been around then.

No. I think aliens did it.

I don't know anything about any "rape rooms." Those weren't a compelling reason to me to take out Saddam.

A few years ago when you and I argued that war, you cited rape rooms conspicuously, although your #1 reason was that he used the WMDs from Reagan as intended by Reagan, to kill his own people almost as much as Iranians. The U.S. disliked both Iran and Iraq and hoped they would leave each other in ruins. Sadaam was a U.S. puppet in his war with Iran and gave him WMDs, and the U.S. later used that as an excuse to crucify him. I spell it Sadaam. Looks cooler. I may make it Sadaam X.

You're all over the map and wrong about most of it.

However, I did approve of ousting Saadam for crimes against humanity. If those included "rape rooms" then that was icing on that cake. There is no doubt he gassed his own people and tortured or disappeared many citizens.

I thought you'd say that Reagan didn't sell the WMDs to Iraq. Which is true. Reagan approved a European company to sell them to Iraq. But for 30 years, everyone has described it in a shorthand way, as Reagan sold them. So I compromised and worded it, Reagan sent them. I expected that that was what you were complaining about with the memory comment. Turned out you were just vaguely passing gas about blurry gas. You need to rise to my standards of precision instead of relying upon your foggy memories of gas.

The gas used was German or Russian in design. They could tell from the soil samples and the chemical structure of the gas found in the soil.

I'm sure you think Reagan is hiding the truth about aliens, too.

The Riegle senate report (Riegle a Democrat out to get Reagan) did not find we sold Saddam (you spell it wrong) chemical WMDs. Companies did sell him precursors to biological weapons (like anthrax samples), but the inconvenient truth for you is that the WMDs used where chemical not biological.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riegle_Report

    Refute it, but you can't.

    Here's the actual senate report:
