I never knew this Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Video existed, until today:

Featured are George's Son, Dhani; (to the right of Tom Petty)....

I never cared at all for Prince's Work, or R&B Disco shit garbage crap music...........

Take him out of his element, and play a real tune on a Teley........and shit, the boy can play, ie, Prince's guitar solo....

but this is not about Prince, its about a George Harrison infamy tune, one which George had to ask Eric Clapton for help in completing this Classic Song. Paul and John told George, basically, "we got to much work of our own to help you finish off your song". Thus in comes Clapton.....Anyone ever forget in England in the 60s, the Graffitti, "Clapton IS God"?????????

Prince, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff
Lynn, Dhani Harrison epic tribute to George Harrison -

Great song, well done and Prince is impressive. Have always heard people rave about his talent but could never hear anything relatable to be able to agree.

Crazy how much Harrison's son looks like him. Go figure.

Pretty cool, I like some of Princes work "Purple Rain" probably my favorite, remember him playing it live at a Grammy Show back in the Eighties. The man kicked butt on that performance. I think he either wrote, produced or both on the Bangles "Manic Monday. Susannah Hoffs what a looker. Along with Dahni Mr Petty did a nice job on the vocals, always liked TP as a singer and guitar player. I was a big fan of Bo Diddley, saw video of Diddley jamming with Pettys, band doing "Mona" together.

...I forget how many different instruments Prince plays but it's a ton.

...and I also had a thing for Susannah Hoffs...dark hair, dark eyes, dark skin...and those perfect DSLs.

...speaking of Tom Petty, George Harrison, and Jeff Lynne...when you add Roy Orbison and Bob Dylan you get one of the greatest bands and greatest albums ever from front to back.

Irony lives here: just 2 days ago, my son and I were watching VH-1, when "Manic Monday" came on, what a gorgeous girl Hoff's was, and helluva vocalist too.

I was telling my 31 yr old son, how The Bangles, tho' not the 1st all girl band, (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, or The Go-Gos' may of came prior to The Bangles as the all girl bands)..........

yet, the Bangles IMO were a better band. I ran into Joan Jett and her band way in the hell back in the 70s on Hollywood Blvd. They were just beginning to attract attention in a few trade mags.....Some Horny Bitches tooo......!!!

The Bangles excepted never was a fan of the all girl bands. On an individual basis though I liked Joan Jett, heard she played for the other Team. She was a bit of a looker as well.
