Well, that was not pretty but got the job done. Now Klein get ready to play and stop being a pussy. Kane had much serious injury and he is back already.

and the rangers medical staff is terrible. Get the guy ready to play already. It's been 5 weeks since he got hit in his hand.

Boy that was a sloppy effort. Their passing was terrible all night. Fleury played very well. They need Klein back in the worst way. The defense is just not the same without him.

Knew it was going to be tough, glad they came away with the win. On to game two, where they have to step it up ...

I'm glad they got the game one win out of the way. Like I said earlier today in the other thread. The Rangers are clearly the better team. Can't give any openings.

They definetly need Klein back now especially since Girardi might be out for a game or two. Boyle and Hunwick are both bad.

1st period was great.....2nd and 3rd the passing was awful. Fleury was the best player on the ice but it's still a big win.

    Onward to Sat night

Oh ok that dosen't sound too debilitating at least. Scuderi looked like he got cut really badly.

Caught up with the game tension. Don't refs see Downie, Lapierre
gooning it up out there? The league claims they don't want it in the
games.............yet, it keeps on happening with no mandates. League is
    sending wrong message......again.

It's better the Rangers just play their game and don't get caught up in the nonsense. That would be playing into the hands of Pitt.

Agree Mess. I've noticed that teams that resort to the BS, opponents
must capitalize on those PP. I have also noticed that teams whose
PP falters, let it affect their overall offense throughout the game.

Boyle was literally abused by 3rd & 4th line goons. He looked
    overmatched the whole game.

Ok had to watch the game on delay (damn you little league) so I am reading everything today. 4 different posts talking about the refs before game one... We got 4 power plays in the first period.. No more!

Thought we played ok, not our A game. Hank made a couple real good saves, Nash wasn't a factor outside 28 seconds in, we can't have that! Hayes looked pretty good. Thought the pens goal could have been disallowed as the guy was in the crease and had an opportunity to get out but didn't.
Chuck 1 and 0 for the playoffs don't tempt it again buddy!
