I'm actually upset that both Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis have been voted for so much, Joe Johnson and Michael Red should both be higher on that list in my opinion. What also looks stupid, is that Eddy Curry should be up much higher on that centers list, he has been playing Center all year and is much improved this season. I think he deserves some credit this year, and I usually don't like him.

Also Curry might be the knicks first allstar since 2001 I believe.

This goes to show you that most the people voting on the ASG are borderline retarded. I know Im going to sound like a homer, but how the hell is Josh Howard ahead of Carlos Boozer in the voting? Boozer has been getting about 23 and 13 a night on the leagues best team, and Howards been getting I think 17 and 7(or somewhere around there) on a team thats hot than cold. Stupid national TV appearences is whats doing it, everyone sees the Mavs every week while the Jazz get 1 appearence. or it could be Cavs fans raiding the polls and voting for Howard.

No is what sucks is that the nation media spends 20 minutes of a 30 minute show talking about the worst team in the league and Allen Iverson while forgetting the mention everyone else.

Yeah eddy curry. why? 11 straight 20 point games and he's averaging career highs in points and rebounds (18 ppg and 7.5 rpg). how stupid are nba fans that they actually vote for these scrubs over curry? he's not even in that list of players and my question is, why? Yeah curry is on the knicks but who cares? he's playing the best ball of his career right now. and all these guys are on sh*tty teams too except for nazr and Z who are not having all-star caliber seasons or even good seasons for that matter. I'm not being biased either. I know all these guys don't make the all star team and that's not my point I think it's retarded that curry's name isn't even mentioned in that list. people are stupid :no3:
Very good to see Bosh get respect. I can't believe Shaq is still getting the call over Howard though.
This voting system is a joke. Yao wil be in the all-star game until he retires, because he has an entire country voting for him. Manu is massively overrated, and also has an entire country voting for him. Someone's probably going to bring up the arguement of 'Name a better Center right now' well, he may be the best center, but he most definately isn't the best player and doesn't deserve the most votes.

I think he is the one in the league that deserves the most votes, because at his position there are none better in the league. The point could also be made, that he is quite possibly the best low post scorer in the league. 26.1 points per game, 9.2 rebounds per game, 2 blocks a game are nice stats from down low. His offensive arsenal is awesome, he can hit the mid range shot, he has nice moves down low. I think he completely deserves to have the highest amount of votes for the all star game.
Yeah, I've hated this whole Yao thing for a few years now. I am officially convinced that every single person in China knows absolutely NOTHING about basketball.

But I was talking about when he'd get twice as many votes as Shaq back in 2002 and 2003. That's just f*cking ridiculous!
Its pretty biased, I'm happy its only half of the decison, I mean theres tons of Lakers fans out there voteing for Mihm eventhough he hasn't even logged 1 minute.
