With both of ATL's runningbacks hurt, I've heard rumors (ala PTI @ ESPN) that he might play runningback this weekend, with backup QB Matt Shaub starting. <-- Massively underrated quarterback. Thoughts?

If you want your 215 pound injury prone QB and his $100 million dollar contract playing runningback...well...good luck with that....

Whens the last time you saw a back-up quarterback almost get traded for the 37th pick (2nd Round) of the draft? Yeah, he's underratd.

It's not going to happen though, plus he's to fragile, and after all..he is the "savior of the franchise" [IMG]

It will be an interesting game if they do that, I'd love to see that. And Matt Shaub is a little underrated. He's not all that great though.

Obviously if an NFL team is willing to trade a 2nd round pick for someone they haven't seen play, they are either right, or they are crazy. And since they get paid to do their job, they are probably right. Plus, I watched him during college all the time at Virginia.NFL isn't desperate for Quarterbacks....Only 2 QB's are only going to go in the first round this year, right now the only teams that may need QB's next year may be Oakland and possibly Green Bay.

I woulden't risk putting Vick at RB, everyone knows how much Vick gets injured, putting him at RB is like a injury waiting to happen.

NFL teams are not desperare for QB's? Are you freaking kidding me? Green Bay has Aaron Rodgers and will not use a first rounder on a QB.

Aaron Rodgers is hurt. Aaron Rodgers is even more unproven then Schaub! He plays behind the Iron-Man himself Brett Favre. Aaron has THIRTY ONE total ATTEMPTS in reguler season play over two years! Plus, any growth he had this year is negated because he broke his foot against the Patriots.

Running back? That would be a stupid move. He's fast but too fragile. If he could catch I would much rather put him at WR but I'm liking Vick as a QB right where he is.

We picked him in the first round, he's our guy. There's no point in drafting another QB when we have so many other holes to fill.

He is not going to play running back. By the end of the first half he would be so beaten up he wouldn't play the second. BCB -> great quote from the office. At the end is the best when he gets the gaydar.

I have been saying this all along... Vick would be a much better RB... he perfers to run over throw anyday.

I didn't see the game but I heard that Vick was the RB for a few plays but nothing really happened there. He passed for over 250 yards and 4 TDs at his real position.

That would be so stupid on the Falcons part. He can't the limited contact he gets at the QB, what would make them think he could play RB. He would end up with a concussion or worse.

He went in at RB 6-7 times in the game..Then one time Shaub went out at WR, and Vick was at QB.
