Will the Sixers retire his jersey?I think they should and will. He was the heart and center of the franchise for 11 years. So many memorable moments and lead them to the finals

They absolutely have to retire the number 3 jersey in Philadelphia. For everything he has done for the franchise and the city... winning the MVP, 2 ASG MVPs, leading the team to the first Finals appearance in 18 years, etc... I would be absolutely stunned if we didn't retire his jersey.

Fans will burn the Wachovia center to the ground if the Sixers did not retire Allen Iverson's jersey... it would be a disgrace not to, not only to the fans, AI himself, and the franchise, but to the NBA and the game of basketball in general. The man is one of the greatest sports icon in Philadelphia sports history, and is easy a top three Sixer of all-time.
