The Niners are back baby! Baalke is gonna ace this draft, and hopefully they won't retire next year.

I honesty am optimistic though, they still have a bunch of talent, just need it to all come together.

Oh yeah dude, I'm totally optimistic. I admit to having a bout of panic when Chris Borland retired, but things have steadily looked up since. Bowman is looking very good, and Wilholte is still here too. Now, if we can grab either Benarrick(sp?) McKinney or Stephone Anthony in the draft, that would be freaking awesome.

I'm thinking Baalke trades down to grab a WR. Boldin probably only has 2 more years in him, if that.

I'll tell you: I'm sick of the doom and gloom crowd over at 49ers.com Forums. Time to think positive! We're going to have a MUCH better season this year, because there will be far better communication between the coaching staff and the players. That right there will be a huge improvement over last season. Our O'line has healthy young players who are healed up. Kap has finished working with Warner and Gile, and players say they already notice a huge improvement in him.

We've got guys on the Secondary who stepped up last year, and will have to do so again this year with the parting of Culliver and Cox. But I'm optimistic they can do it. Brock is still around too.

Many believe that Vernon Davis is going to have a break-out season. Meh.....I dunno about that. Personally, I think he's washed up. But I hope I'm wrong! At least he's going to camp and not holding out. I'm really impressed with how much he's matured over the years. I really hope I'm wrong about him.

I'm calling it right now....12-4 or 13-3. Go Niners!

What's-his-name rook that missed last year to nurse his injury and will replace Iupati is an underrated addition to the team too. So much so I don't know how name.

I was just reading about him. Brandon Thomas. Yeah, kid looks like a total stud. And Marcus Martin is going to compete with Killgore and Looney for the starting Center position. But I think he could also play Guard or Tackle.
