http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/04/21/netflix-full-house-revival-is-happening It's official: the classic 1980s American sitcom, Full House, is coming back to life on Netflix. John Stamos, who starred as Jesse Katsopolis on the show, announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live that Netflix has sealed the deal and Full House will be revived as Fuller House. There will be 13 episodes, starting with a one-hour special that will serve as a reunion for the Tanner family. Stamos, who is serving as producer, revealed that this reincarnation of the hit series will focus on DJ Tanner and her three sons, Stephanie Tanner, and kooky neighbor Kimmy Gibbler. Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barder will star and Stamos himself will reprise his original role of Uncle Jesse as a guest star. Stamos hinted that they are hopeful that all of the original cast members will be involved. Discussions with other former Full House stars regarding guest appearances in Fuller House are ongoing. In a joint statement, executive producers Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller, and Jeff Franklin said: “The continued support of Full House fans of all ages for the last 28 years has been astounding. It is an honor and a thrill to catch up with these beloved characters and explore their lives today. The love you saw on the show was real. The cast has remained a loving family off screen all these years. We are as excited as our fans to finally bring Full House back to life.” Fuller House is scheduled to debut in 2016 in all Netflix territories.
